Letter Moth

A writing assistant that stays in the box

Letter Moth is a Chrome extension for the messages you put off: LinkedIn notes, cold emails, referral requests, follow-ups and the long questions on job applications.

Open the page you're on, click the moth or right-click inside a text box, and pick what you're writing. It reads only the part of the page you approve, then drafts a message in your voice, trimmed to the box's character limit.

Then you take over. Edit the draft, insert it, and press send yourself. Letter Moth never sends anything for you.

Draft for Priya Nair

Hi Priya, Your piece on designing medication reminders stayed with me, especially the idea of quiet defaults. I'm a product designer working on patient reminders at a small health startup. Could I ask how you decide when a reminder has done enough? Thanks, Arjun

It fits the box

Letter Moth reads the character limit of the field you're writing in and trims the draft to fit, instead of cutting it off.

It sounds like you

Written for where you write

Questions

Does it send my messages for me? No. It writes a draft and puts it in the box. You read it and press send yourself.

Is Letter Moth free? Yes, to start. The free plan gives you 10 drafts a day and 3 saved prompts, with no card needed. Pro removes the limits.

What does it read from the page? Only when you ask: the page title, the text you selected or the visible page text, and what's already in the box. You can review and untick it first, and it never reads password or payment fields.

Who sees my page text? It goes to our server and to the AI provider to write that one draft. We don't sell it or use it for advertising, and we don't keep it after the draft is made.

Which browsers and sites does it work on? Google Chrome and other Chromium browsers (Edge, Brave, Opera). It works in the text boxes on sites like LinkedIn, Gmail and job application forms. It doesn't run on Firefox or Safari yet, and Chrome blocks extensions on its own pages and the Web Store.

How does Pro work? Pro is prepaid: 30 days or a year, paid once. It never renews by itself, and paying again adds time. You can pay by UPI, cards and net banking.

Can I get a refund? Yes, within 7 days of your first Pro purchase. See the Refund Policy for the details.

How do I delete my account? Email us from your account address and we'll delete your account and data. You can uninstall the extension at any time.
