Draft email to Marcus Webb

Hi Marcus, I read your note on moving Alder Freight's dispatch tools off spreadsheets, and the point about drivers needing one screen instead of three stayed with me. I design dispatch tools for small fleets and have shipped two rollouts like it. Would a 15-minute call next week be useful, or is there someone better to ask? Thanks, Arjun

From the page to the first draft

A cold email works when it shows you looked. Letter Moth reads what you have open, such as an About page, a job post, a founder's profile or a recent announcement, and writes from that. The reason for writing comes from the page, not from a blank box.

Right-click in Gmail's compose window or any text box, pick the kind of message, and the draft appears there. Change the tone, say what you want to ask for in a line, and ask again.

This year we are moving dispatch off spreadsheets so drivers see one screen instead of three. Marcus Webb, COO, leads the rollout. Reach him at the address below.

One email at a time

Letter Moth is a drafting tool, not a bulk sender. It writes one email, for one person, that you review before it leaves your outbox. That keeps messages specific and keeps you in control of who you contact and why.

Only write to people you have a real reason to contact, and follow the rules that apply where you and they are.

Replies too

Choose the Reply chip inside an email thread and tell it how you want to respond, for example accept but propose next Tuesday. It drafts the reply from the thread in front of you.

What a good cold email has

  • One reason you are writing to them in particular, taken from something real on their page.
  • One line of proof that you are worth a reply, such as relevant work, not a list of credentials.
  • A small ask with an easy out: a question, a short call, or a pointer to the right person.
  • Short enough to read on a phone without scrolling. Cut the first sentence if it only says hello.

Questions

Does it work inside Gmail? Yes. It works in the text boxes on sites like Gmail through the toolbar popup and the right-click menu. It needs Chrome or another Chromium browser such as Edge or Brave.

Can it write subject lines and follow-ups? It drafts the message text you ask for. Use the Follow-up chip for a nudge after no reply, and edit or write the subject yourself.

Is it a bulk email tool? No. It writes one draft at a time, and you send each message yourself.

Where does my email text go? Only the context you approve is sent to our server and the AI provider to write that one draft. We don't sell it or use it for advertising. The Privacy Policy has the details.
